CATALYST will address the need of at-risk high school students to achieve mathematical literacy necessary to participate in the emerging information society. By implementing the Cohort Model of the Algebra Project in two rural school districts in Southern Illinois and one small-urban school district in North Central Ohio, the project wil reach 400 at-risk students.
