A few words of explanation.  In computing the hw and quiz scores, at the 
end of the semester you will have three drops.  For the first half score I 
computed with one drop, to reflect the fact that, typically, people end up 
needing to use more drops towards the end.  The break down at the end
is going to be 10 percent each for quizzes and HW, 16 for each midterm,
32 for the final.  This means at the end, 80 percent is exam scores.  
Right now there are only two exams so they have been weighted at 40 each 
to keep the 10:10:80 ratio.
