HI!
Welcome to the Math 250, Calculus II, Website!
|
||
|---|---|---|
| The purpose of this website is to help you review the algebra, trig, and Calc I topics you will need to know in order to be successful in Calc II. We cannot overemphasize how much easier (and more enjoyable?!) Calc II will be for you if you have a firm grasp of the background material discussed here. It is surprising how quickly math skills erode, even if you've just finished Calc I. Accordingly, we strongly encourage you to read the directions and work through as much of this material as possible. | ||

Listed below is a menu leading to three sites. | ||

|
The first site contains basic questions in algebra and trig.
Success in calculus starts with strong algebra and trig skills.
If you need to review, references to other sites are provided.
Next, move directly to the Assessment Test.
The Test covers all the material from Calc I that is essential in
Calc II.
Answers and references to Review Topics are again provided.
Maybe you prefer to review everything (instead of taking the test).
That's okay too.
All Review Topics contain detailed explanations and lots of problems.
Finally, to assist you during the semester, we've included Review Topics
that cover algebra/trig materials not usually covered in Calc I but which
are essential to Calc II.
These Review Topics appear in green with the appropriate section of the current text
alongside.
For best results, go over this material prior to the section being covered in class.
We hope you find the site helpful and will visit it often. We ask only one thing in return... The next time you visit, bring along a friend.
